ekg2-scripting-python software package provides instant messenger and IRC client for UNIX systems - Python scripting, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ekg2-scripting-python
ekg2-scripting-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ekg2-scripting-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ekg2-scripting-python *
